Prolific blooms vibrant and rich in purple color, wysteria vines are prevalent in the southeast in springtime. These vines cover an arbor outside my kitchen window.

Contemporary Still Life Floral Painting" TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE" by Georgia Artist Deanna Jaugstetter

Often it is the texture of a flower that makes me want to paint them even more than the color variations which I also love. I had these two cheerful blooms which remained fresh longer than others in a larger bouquet. I experimented with a cool gray background in this floral oil painting titled " Two Is Better Than One".
